DOOM v1.666 has been uploaded to ftp.uwp.edu. Though it is currently

in /pub/incoming/id, it should shortly be in /pub/msdos/games/id.

It is also at Software Creations BBS and is on its way to CompuServe

soon.

The files: DM1666SP.ZIP - shareware wad patch

DM1666SW.ZIP - executable

DM1666RP.ZIP - registered wad patch

Most of you will want the first two files. Our kind, wonderful,

gracious customers will want the third file.

In the long-standing tradition of the DOOM sound code, it is still

not stable. There's something majorly wrong with the PAS sound

code right now. If you own a PAS of any sort and want to do us a

favor, please check it out and drop a note to pjr@hnv.com (the

sound library guy) with whatever results you get. Thanks!
