There are lots of screen shots and a few monster pics. The big brown


monster is going to change but you can see how he looks now. Yes, the


monster picures do show exactly how cool they look in the game.


There's also a very small Video for Windows & Quicktime movie of one


of the creatures (currently known as the Manta) in motion so you can


see how cool everything looks. The screen shots are all in 640x480


resolution which is the way anyone with 100 Mhz or higher Pentium


would probably choose play the game. Because it's in Windows 95 you


could, of course, choose any screen size if you're playing in a window


and there's Direct Draw full-screen support for 640x480 and 320x240


(for really slow machines).



Over next few weeks we plan to release a lot more information about


the game so please check in often. If you have any questions please


post them in rec.computer.games.quake as I check there on a fairly


regular basis.



This is the game that PC Gamer says looks "better than Quake".
