I was watching CNN this Saturday afternoon when they mentioned an

excellent WWW games site, GameSpot. I visited it, and it seems to be

an excellent site with great writers and up-to-the-minute news. In

the section dedicated to live coverage of E3, they state the id

themselves have said (on Thursday) that Quake will be out before the

end of May! Here's the quote:

" id software announced that Quake will be

available within the month. They said the

same thing three weeks ago in an

interview with Time magazine. Cross

your fingers... "
