# XPak v0.3.6; 96/03/02. (c) Tom Wheeley;
XPAK is a Quake .PAK file modification/extraction tool. It comprises:
List Lists contents of the .PAK file directory
Extract Extracts specified lumps to the directory tree
Add Adds/Updates a lump to a PAK file
Remove Removes a lump from a PAK file
Rename Rename lump in PAK file
New since version 0.2.7:
. Create and Update intelligently performed by Add (as it should be...)
. Update mode will update lumps, whatever the size difference!
. Dedicated rename mode, plus extract/add with differing lumpnames and
filenames -- all configuable on the easy to use command line
. Fixes various bugs in 0.2.7 (Like remove needing external file)
XPAK was written by myself to help enable real editor authors to write map,
thing and sprite editors, rather than mess about with the PAK files :)
XPAK is freeware, and I may release the source in future. TW. 96/03/02
BTW, if you want dedication, just look at the timestamp on this mail 8)
