* The Quake RC Archive is updated and online at the following WWW sites:

The sites are identical (not mirrored...*identical*).

* What is a Quake RC?

It's a collection of console commands used to customize and change

the settings in Quake. It also allows you to create complex commands from

simpler ones using aliases. Sometimes people refer to RC files as CFG

files; the terms are synonymous. I just like saying "RC" :).

* What is the Quake RC Archive?

It's basically a collection of RC files sent in by people all over

the net to me. It's a good resource if you want to customize Quake to fit

your needs and you're not sure where to start. It has a section on useful

aliases to know, tips about setting up your own RC, and of course, a place

to view the RC files that people use every day to frag your sorry ass. If

you're looking for an edge, look at this web site.
