Splat is putting together a fragfest in NYC, for early september. We

have a great location in Greenwich Village willing to let us use their

space, and machines.

The site has a full bar, restaurant, and a large projection screen (so

people waiting to kill, can watch the action). They have 6 pentiums,

and we may be able to up the number to 8. Obviously, we know the more

machines, the more fun...so we will try to get as many as possible.

Right now, we are planning on a five hour continuous deathmatch, where

the strong survive, and the weak sit broken at the bar drowning their

sorrows. The thought is to have 15 minute rounds (time it..longer than

you think)...top player (or players, depending on final number of

machines) stay for next round...like a pool table...if you are

good...you keep playing.

We figure, since you are gonna hang out on a friday or saturday

anyway...might as well do it where you can deathmatch, and watch some

kickin action. In addition, if we get enough interest, we can set this

up as a monthly event, so there's always the chance to get revenge!
