For those people who ordered Quake in July, the sad news is that their

copies will not be mailed for another two weeks. I spoke to an id

representative on the phone today who told me this :-( . She also said

that the retail version is expected to be in stores on August 15.

dbongard@netcom.com (Dan Bongard) reports that he got his registered

Quake on 22/7/96, and swap@mbay.net (Swap) got his/hers three

days later. I think it suffices to state that the CDs *are* getting

through, and if you've ordered one it will eventually arrive.
