Hi there,
As some people *were* interested in the old version, I thought
I'd quickly announce this one as well. ;-)
Today I uploaded QBSP v29 for DOS to ftp.cdrom.com - look for
the file qbsp_dos.zip in /pub/quake/incoming, then in /newstuff
and finally in /utils/bsp_pak_tools.
Please note that QBSP v29 produces .BSPs that can only be used
with the registered version of Quake! Actually it's the same
.BSP version that Quake SW 1.0x uses, but as we all know, id
has removed add-on level support in these versions. So, why
not just buy the game? (Yeah, as if you wouldn't have done
that anyway ... right? ;-)
Thomas
PS: Those who are desperately looking for the old version of
QBSP for DOS, which I announced here on 24/Jul/96, please
read my own follow-up to that article!
