[ old news for some of us, but maybe not all - mod ]

yup it's true.

Nine Inch Nails wrote the soundtrack. not kidding!

it is not old songs off of thier other albums.

they wrote it while playing the game!

i know, it's wierd, but Nine Inch Nails has a rap of being "satanic"

and so does ID.

it even says on the computer gaming world on-line web site:

http://www.zdnet.com/gaming/content/960710/quake/full.html

go there and you'll get a review of the retail version.

they claim that the retail version blows the shareware away. the shareware

is a little taste of the whole jalopy game.

i don't know, i only have the shareware version, so...

by the way, if anyone knows about being able to buy Quake in South Korea,

it would be nice if you could tell me.
