Hi!

I released a new version of my utility Makebrush. I think it's a good

way to create levels until a decent level editor is out.

I uploaded it to ftp.cdrom.com. The DOS version is just 41KB (the

Linux version even less). So it should be worth the download.

Lars

Makebrush v0.5 (DOS/Linux version)

(c) by Lars Bensmann

Assists you in creating levels. Generates the objects defined in

a simple ASCII file. (Interactive mode implemented as well.)

Objects that can be created:

objects : Objects with as many points as QBSP compiles (even more,

but I guess nobody wants to use that :-)

planes : Define a 2D-plane and give a thickness vector to make it

3D.

cubes : Well, as it says cubes (don't have to be align to any

axis)

rooms : Rooms with x corner points.

funnyrooms: Like rooms, but with a 'strange' look to the walls.

stairs : Define the first and the last step and don't worry about

the rest.

If this still is not enough: Rotate your creations as much as you like

around any point you like.

v0.5 now supports import of 'brush_templates' that can be rotated,

scaled, and translated.

So, just check it out and tell me what you think about it,

Lars (lars@b-man.ruhr.de)
