I am happy to announce my work (in alpha state as i got my registred
to test it just few minutes ago) with couple of 'dprint("foo at bar");'
in Quake-c.
I have some of to to keep track almoust every event in quake.
My quake-server (mordor.lpt.fi, 193.166.64.4) runs under PERL-script,
which is looking for spesific events from it input to log those.
generally those are form:
17:29:31 kill drizzt glade 11 2 supernailgun
which translates: "drizzt killed glade with supernailgun and has 11 frags
after that. glade does have 2 frags after that".
I have also integrated few event to script. One (so far) is
"last player levels", meaning that it generates HTML-page after every
played level and rotates 10 last ones.
Check more from http://mordor.lpt.fi/ as from there you can see what all this
actually means. please contact me directly, if you want to get involved in
future testing of this and suggest some improvements.
In future (at least in my mind) there will be FragDB of many servers, where
you can seek how you score, but that's still far away ...... plenty of
problems to be solved before that.
I won't give this work yet to public, but will do that right after i think
it's stable and reliable enought.
