If you live near Portland and enjoy PC-based multiplayer games

you should consider joining the Portland Network Gaming Group.

We meet for one Saturday each month and hook our computers into a

local-area-network (LAN) and play multiplayer games. The networking

hardware you need consists of an ethernet card and a twisted pair

cable at least 25 feet long.

The next meeting is scheduled for 21 September. The meetings

last from 10 a.m. until everyone is tired of gaming.

The meetings are held in the large conference room of a motel near

the Lake Oswego exit of Interstate-5. The typical cost per person

ranges from $5 to $10, depending on the number of people that show

up.

Our only requirement is that people be at least 19 years old.

If you are interested in attending send email to:

caustic@teleport.com
