For everybody who records demos and holds tournaments I have written a
Quake-C patch just for you.
Using the intermission-views my patch uses one client to display the view
with the most players on it. A internet cafe in Milwaukee already uses it in
combination with a big-screen TV. Sources are included, and heavily
commented IMHO.
Grab it at: ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/idgames2/quakec/misc/dmcam11.zip
or: http://www.xs4all.nl/~drwilco/dmcam11.zip
When no players are in view (when the camera is the only client connected
for instance) it will cycle through all the views, displaying them for 3
seconds each.
