This morning a Zip file of the first original Quake level made from
scratch was posted on the following web page:

Some guy on Compuserve apparently tore through the BSP code to figure out
how the whole thing is constructed. I have a copy of it down here, and
it's nothing to look at, as far as a level. It's only a SMALL box you're
in with all the weapons inside. (Maybe Houdini would have enjoyed this
level, but otherwise it's pretty useless.) However, it's a pretty
significant step in quake editing, I'd say. Within a month, people may
hack out full blown level editors.
