is there anyone interested in a UK quake tournament?? this was

originally posted by mason@canuck.skynet.co.uk but his ISP (Skynet) cant

seem to post to the usenet at the moment (or for the last 3 weeks!) so

i'm here to tell u all about it.

the tournament will be held at the moorbarns inn near Rugby/lutterworth,

with easy access from M1,M6, & A14. the moorbarns inn offers overnight

facilities if you wish to stay for the weekend or alternatively camping

is FREE.

there will be a multitude of quake games being played on a LAN. all

hardware is supplied, but if you want to bring your own machine i wont

stop u!

its free to come to the tournament and play but if u want to take part

in a tournament (and win some money!) there will be a 5 pound fee for

entering. the money for the winner(s) will be a direct percentage of the

takings.

if anyone is interested please contact mason@canuck.skynet.co.uk and if

there is anyone from skynet listening " get yourself sorted!"
