Quake rose to #1 this week on the Commercial Top 100 Games Charts.

It's also #1 on the Download Top 40 Games.

This week the World Charts organization took votes from 2165 game

players world wide to determine the world's most popular games. We print

the results weekly in the Commercial Top 100 Charts which includes

commercially sold games and registered versions of shareware games; and

the Download Top 40 Charts, which includes shareware, freeware and game

demos.

In addition to being re-printed in numerous web pages, e-mags and

printed magazines, the games charts are posted on the walls at some of the

big gaming companies. Industry professionals have said that the PC Games

Charts are a better judge of games than charts based on sales.
