After two weeks of larking about MINOS is finally ready to

pull the plug on our free server. It's been fun, and we've

really enjoyed running the best UK server for free. But we

ain't got no academic link (which isn't free anyway - you

pay taxes!) and we ain't got no big ISP bankroll behind us.

So this is it - either we provide an excellent service and

people flock to us, or we fade away...

Andrew and Rick would like to thank everyone who has made

the MINOS story so far a success story - you all know who

you are.

We'll leave the free server looping on e1m1 for a while,

but there will be no more changes or modifications made.

All our efforts are now focussed on making MINOS a

commercial success. Membership has been reduced to #5 for

the first month.

The switch will take place at 2pm on Friday 15th November.

Subscribers will be contacted individually about membership

packs and client software.

Check the web pages if you want to continue to be part of

the action - we'll always be bringing people together so you

can blow them apart.
