I have created a new online competition for DeathMatch. This competition is

designed to honour those DeathMatchers lurking on the 'net who are so good as

to deserve recognition. Over the next eight weeks, anyone who wants to may

enter the competition and gain a DMK title by provingtheir worth at a

particular skill in DeathMatch, in DOOM, DOOM II, Heretic, Hexen, Quake, and

Duke Nukem 3D, using Kali, against a standardised target, by making a

recording of their play. If you meet the requirements of the title you are

attempting to gain, you will receive that title, and your qualifying recording

will be put on the DMK web page. After the cut-off time, when all the titles

are awarded, anyone who wants to may vote for their favourite recordings. The

title-holders whose recordings are voted the sixteen best outof all those

recorded will then take part in a final DeathMatch, and the winner of this

will be crowned the DMK Lord of the DeathMatch.
