I've completed a new version of qstat which adds a couple
minor enhancements. There are flags to resolve host names
and to read hosts from files or stdin.
A web page for qstat can be found at
http://www.activesw.com/people/steve/qstat.html
Qstat 1.1 is a Unix program to display information about
running Quake servers. Give it a list of host addresses and
it will determine if they're running a server. Typical
output is:
156.46.216.101 "quake101" map test3 at 156.46.216.101:26000 4/16 players
141.211.18.60 "Edwardo" map test3 at 141.211.18.60:26000 6/10 players
129.186.78.94 DOWN
129.186.3.98 DOWN
206.150.173.169 "FULLnet" map test3 at 206.150.173.169:26000 0/8 players
204.243.221.24 DOWN
192.246.40.34 no response
128.174.192.147 no response
129.130.99.129 no response
204.189.101.101 no response

qstat1-1.zip has been uploaded to ftp.cdrom.com:/quake/incoming

Keep an open mind, but don't let it fill with crap.
