Thought I'd let you know:
I've written a compact new Windows95 utility to capture and save the output
from QBSP, Light, and VIS when compiling your MAPs. It also tells you of
some possible problems, like whether your level is going to VIS or not.
It's fully configurable, can launch Quake with your map, and sleeps during
compilation to conserve CPU cycles.
It works great with any Quake level editor.
Its free, you can get it at:

(at the bottom of the page...)
Let me know if you like it!
