Now that everyone knows what ShockWave has been doing, here's some

info on what The Quake Stomping Grounds has been up to...ya I'm

pimping it to all hell today. ;)

-= Access Stats =-

Heh...we're getting about 20k HTML requests a day now, with over

3500 hits to the main page a day.

-= Updates =-

You want updates, we got more updates than anyone! We were the first

with the info about the new testers at id, first to have the id site

address up, first (ok second Mr Wolf) to have the new Quake logo up,

first to have id's new screenshots up, and of course, always first

when it comes to new files.

-= New Features =-

Our server tracker is up, and upades every 10 minutes, telling

you nice and easily on one page what servers are up, and what

the're up to.

You can also access the information by fingering servers@stomped.com

or telneting to stomped.com and logging in as user servers.

The player list is now up. If you want to deathmatch over modem

with people around you, just add yourself to the list.

Tips & Tricks section contains some wicked tricks for playing DMatch

along with killer bindings to add to your config file, wanna jump

farther and higher, or get a map in Quake?, check here

Q&A section has the answers to your burning questions, get some

tips on setting up Quake to work over the net using either your

modem or network card.

New and improved interface to let you to all the goodies easier.

-= Oldies but Goodies =-

Performance charts to let you compare your system to others, and let

you make the best choice when upgrading.

The file area, by far the largest and most complete out there, and

always the first to have the new cool files. Now browse for new

textures by seeing what they look like, _before_ downloading them.

The monsters page, where you can see all the coolest monsters hidden

in Quake or made by fellow Quakers.

The Console Page, the most complete and most descriptive list of

console commands out there.

Have no clue what Quake is?... Check out the What's Quake page for

a rundown of what Quake is all about.

The screenshots page, full of some of the coolest screenshots out

there, including id's brand spanking new ones.

Welp, that's all folks, just wanted to let you all know what we're

up to. Come on by and visit, there's bound to be something

interesting going on.
