Qfront is a new Quake frontend. It is probably the most

complete windows based Quake-frontend availible.

Description:

When quake was released I started building my patch

file collection, now I'm stuck with a major problem!

What do I have? Where did I put that patch... What

Impulse did what?

Well out of pure frustration I wrote this little

program that'll pick up what you have called patman.

While in beta testing I had many ppl ask me to expand

on patman's functionality and... a month after patman

Qfront was born....

Here's a quick feature list to the Qfront

Patchfiles:

Install, rename, delete, comment a patch, move Qc source to a new

directory, compile Qc sourcefiles.

a Bindkeys function finds all references to the word impulse and

allows you to assign keys.

Demos:

Install, rename, delete, comment, distribute (zip to disk), record and

playback a demo (Timed and normal playback supported).

Maps

Install, Rename, delete, comment and play bsp files. Launch an external

Quake editor.

Keys

Assign all Quake keys, create custom bindings and alias

Funoptions

Set all extra functions for Quake e.g. aim, gravity, friction etc.

Setup:

Change all Quake settings, volume, cdvolume, brightness, enable cd,

crosshair, keyboard speed (this one's a must for keyboarders, can

actually rival mouse turning speed), mouse speed etc.

Run Quake:

Launch Quake as server or client on modem, ipx, tcp/ip or as Normal

with Coop/Deathmatch, teamplay etc. settings

Create Batchfile:

Qfront gives you the option to create a batch file instead of

launching Quake with the current settings, bindings etc. This will be

usefull if you prefer running Quake from dos.

MUCH MORE...
