I've made a new free Quake utiltity that works great for deathmatch or
single player.
The Quake Level Combiner is a Windows95 program that gives you an easy way
to string your custom Quake levels together in any order and play them in
Quake. You don't have to type "map
It allows you to select the order of your levels and Quake will play them
one after another until the end, then will start over.
You simply run the program to create your patch and execute Quake with the
command "-game
collection of levels.
The program is compatible with your existing Quake C patches! If you are
using a Quake C patch already, you can use this program to modify your
"client.qc" file to add the level-changing feature.
Note: You also need Quake C and the qcc compiler to use this program. It
modifies the "client.qc" file, then makes the patch. See the included
"readme.txt" file for complete instructions. You don't need to download
this if you already have it.
