If you've been seeing the message Exiting due to signal SIGSEGV and get

sent back to Windows, download this file

"http://www.mplayer.com/alt-downloads/fixsigsegv.exe" (fixsigsegv.exe) and

install it

into your main Quake directory (such as C:\Quake). If you're running

Quake, exit and restart. Now you'll be able to launch a game of Quake

over the Internet.
