I've just finished the beta of a new server-side teamplay patch for

Quake - it's called "Holy Wars", and it introduces some very simple

new rules and a new power-up specifically designed for teamplay with 6

or more players.

This patch doesn't want to be a new CTF or another never-to-be-seen

Definitive Total Conversion (nvtbsDTC) - just a simple, unpretentious

quick change from the standard game. If it works as expected, it

should encourage fast gameplay and mass carnage rather than strategy.

Of course, the patch will be freeware.

I'm looking for a group of players to test the patch, report any bugs

and give suggestions. If you're planning a LAN-party and are willing

to dedicate some time to the testing of Holy Wars, let me know.
