Clan 9 From Outer Space has started a ***new-maps*** deathmatch server,

The Experimental Pits, configured like the popular Mothership servers but

dedicated to using the best freely-available non-id maps for Internet play.

The current map rotation showcases the 7 winners of a month-long 100-map

"talent search". As an added bonus, players can use a limited version of

the AirFist defensive weapon. For information and downloads, go to the page

http://lemur.stanford.edu/clan9/frames/index_inv_e.html

Come check it out!

P.S. For you server admins or admin-wannabes, the Web page gives you all

you need to start a similar server of your own.
