All of you know of the ClanRing. I don't know how many of you know what

has been happening recently.

The people who have created and maintained the ClanRing are expanding

their services.

MPOG (Multi-Player Online Gaming) (http://www.mpog.com) will support ALL

online games that can handle groups similar to the clans.

Games that are being planned/considered:

Released: Diablo, POD(demo only), Quake

Not Yet Released: Jedi Knight, Hexen II, Ultima Online, Unreal, X-Wing

vs. TIE Fighter

There will be a branch of MPOG for each game. ClanRing will remain, as

the Quake branch.

There is a great deal being created at this very moment:

1) A ladder that will incorporate all mpog's, and every form of combat

2) A system of official MPOG servers -- more organized and more accessable

3) Opening lines of communications with the companies that are creating

these games. Currently we are in communications with:

A) 3d Realms

B) Apogee

C) Epic

D) Ion Storm

E) id

F) the guys at E3

-- and probably more that I don't yet know of

To other companies: MPOG is willing to work with you, if you are

willing to work with us. There is much to be done in the field of

online gaming.

1) Not much is up on the MPOG front page at the moment, but it's at

http://www.mpog.com

2) The ClanRing page is currently at http://www.mpog.com/clanring -- with

more information on what's happening

3) The IRC channels #MPOG and #ClanRing (the latter currently has the

most activity) -- for help getting into IRC, visit

-- IRC is Internet Relay Chat -- real-time communications -- there's

over 25,000 people just on EFNet right now.
