qED Rapid Development 3D/Quake Level Editor

Extended Life Public Beta now available.

The qedf0323 file replaces QED.EXE with a copy

that will not expire on 31 March 97. All the

new features (including 3D Texture Mapped editing

window) are completed, but not included in the

Public Beta pending the imminent formal release

of the full qED product. This patch allows those

using the Public Beta to stay productive while

awaiting the full kit.

If you already have the qED Public Beta installed

then you only need 1 file available at either

site below:

If you want to get the whole installation package,

and/or the updated HELP file then visit this

temporary information site:

If you want to read the qED NEWS by the program's

author then here is the place to go.

qED is still the easiest tool to learn, and the

full version now in Private Beta is extremely

powerful. The Public Beta is an excellent way

to get an introduction to the soon to be released

formal product. qED has also completed evaluation

testing by id Software, it will be licensed and

legit very shortly!
