Catapult Systems Corp. is hosting an id sanctioned Quake Tournament.
The winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to compete as one of
the sixteen finalists in The National id Quake Challenge in Atlanta
where the grand prize is a Ferrari donated by John Carmack, co-founder
of id software and lead Quake programmer.
The tournament is Saturday, April 19th from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A $20
registration fee covers the contest entry, a t-shirt, and
refreshments. Catapult Systems Corp. is located in Austin, TX.
In addition to the tournament server, there will be a server running
for "non-tourney Quake." Spectators not wishing to enter the
tournament can pay $5 for refreshements and all of the "non-tourney"
Quake they can handle!
