SayTeam.rc is a Quake command script for communicating

productively while playing Capture The Flag (CTF) Quake.

It executes say, say_team, and impulse commands using

different "two key presses" for each command.

It uses on-screen prompts as menus for the user to

keep track of all the messages and commands.

It currently can manage 49 messages or commands and

includes the flag and server status impulses.

It makes it easy for even novices to communicate with

their teamates and foes and to view the flag and server

status.

Also, expert ctf players will find this a valuable tool

they can modify to fit their own needs.

Using SayTeam.rc:

The F1 key displays this list of menu titles:

F2=Incoming F3=Help F4=Attack

F5=Positions F6=Plays F7=Taunts

F8=Status / Impulses

A two key combination is used to select a message or

command.

1st Keypress: F2-F8 are used to select and display a

menu of messages or commands. The F1 key can then

cancel the first keypress before a message is sent.

2nd Keypress: F2-F8 sends the message.

All messages accept "Taunts" are say_team messages

that can only be seen by your team. "Taunts" can be seen

by all players.

Note: Impulses are more easily used if bound to

other more convenient keys. The impulse numbers are given

as reference for this.
