Hello people!
I've released a new version of my Quake
editor to the world, AdQuedit Version 1.15
Version 1.15 1/15/97
After the earlier release of version 1.1
( released earlier today, coincidentally)
I found out that it had a serious bug
which has since been corrected.
It fixes a bug in the mip-making
caused by some vistigial code.
Version 1.1 1/15/97
Main changes are the bugs that were
found are gone. A big change is that
the mip making is near flawless now.
It reacts much better to fullbrights and
the quality of the output is much more
like Id's. Also, the mip making is much
faster now that I've thrown out the trig
functions.
You can get AdQuedit from my website
at: http://goldrush.com/~hicks/adquedit/
For those of you who have never heard of
it before, AdQuedit is a Quake editor that
lets you: make mips, make wads, make
paks, make sprites, edit bsp entities, edit
bsp textures, edit model skins, unpack,
pack, and works as a Quake launcher and
as an all around good editing environment.
It might do more than that, but that is all
I can remember right now.
Goodbye,
Cable Hicks
